Most orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours via USPS Priority Mail. It takes 2-3 business days to ship from our NJ warehouse. If you provide email addresses, both purchaser and recipient will receive shipment notifications and tracking numbers via email.

Subscription will begin within 30 days of placing your order. Gifts usually arrive within a day or two of the birthdate each month. For example, if the child's birthday is Oct 15, the package is due to arrive on the doorstep on the 15th of each month. If the baby is not yet born, the recipient will receive the first gift within the week of the expected due date.

We have a team dedicated to the research of products available on the market that would match our strict criteria for product selection. In general, our product selection methodology follows several key tiers. First we listen very closely to what our customers and other parents say. A toy must not only be designed to assist with the development of the child, but it must actually work by harnessing the attention of the child. Second, we work closely with various manufacturers and distributors to ensure that we know what is being introduced to the market. Our third major product selection track involves what we call spontaneous research - namely a process designed to encourage finding smaller boutiques that produce high quality developmental toys.

Subscriptions to Smarter By The Month do not automatically renew once the term of subscription ends. If you would like to renew, simply purchase a new subscription.

Currently, only our monthly toy subscriptions are wrapped. However, all of our packages arrive in bright white boxes that will be sure to please the recipient.
