Purchases

When you place an order, we collect only the information necessary to fulfill the order. We use the email addresses provided to send order reciepts and status updates, shipping updates, and tracking numbers.

We request the child's name and birthday so we can include a personalized letter to the child. For our monthly subscriptions, we aim to have the package arrive on the day of the birthday each month. We also want to make sure the contents of the package will match the developmental age of the child.

For added security, we do not store your credit card number in our database.

Your Online Account

In order to make purchases at Smarter By The Month, you must create a user account. This is done to protect your privacy. We will not store your password, nor do we have access to it. We do not store your credit card number, and do not have access to it. Your credit card number, along with name and address, are sent through our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL encrypts your credit card information as it is sent through the internet so no one may see it except the company receiving the payment information. Please feel free to verify our SSL certificate.

Email Updates and Newsletters

We offer our customers the ability to sign up for our newsletter, which may include special offers and coupons. You may also submit your email address to receive notifications on certain products you may be interested in.

Cookies

Cookies, pixel tags, log files, and links tell us how you use our site, but are not used to collect or store personally identifiable information. Some of our third party companies may use cookies in order to track a referral from our site.
